Charles Barkley, Connor McDavid, Charizard Lead eBay’s February Marquee Auction

This month’s eBay Marquee Auction is highlighted by a Charles Barkley rookie, one of Connor McDavid’s best cards and multiple top Pokemon chases.

Filled with all-time greats, rising superstars and even pop culture icons, eBay’s second Marquee Auction of the year kicks off on Feb. 19.

The 10-day auction features a curated lineup of high-end collectibles from basketball, baseball and even Pokemon.

Among the top items will be a 1986 Fleer Charles Barkely PSA 10. Barkley’s signature rookie has over 10,000 graded examples from PSA but just 242 have secured a 10.

The Marquee Auction also features key cards for earlier superstars — a 1981 Topps Larry Bird PSA 10 and a 1981 Topps Magic Johnson PSA 10 are available as well.

Rounding out the basketball offerings is a 1986 Fleer Johnny Moore PSA 10. Moore has the second-fewest PSA 10 examples of any card in the set, making it a high-priority for set collectors looking for graded examples.

Baseball is highlighted by a 1999 Skybox Premium Ken Griffey Jr. Star Rubies PSA 8. Numbered out of 50, the Star Rubies parallels are some of the most popular and expensive from the 1990s. This card has a population of eight with none higher.

Hockey is led by a 2015 Upper Deck Young Guns Canvas Connor McDavid BGS 10 Black Label. Arguably the best player in the NHL, McDavid has become ultra-popular among hockey collectors as a long-term hold with high expectations.

Beyond sports cards, there are several key Pokemon cards for collectors to bid on. The 1999 First Edition Shadowless Base Set Charizard BGS 7 is one of the most important trading cards in all of collectibles.
