The LeBron James-Bronny James 1/1 Dual Autograph might be the biggest card released in 2024, and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin made sure to capture the moment it was signed.

Rubin posted a variety of photos and a short video Friday morning showing LeBron James signing the card.

Additional photos show LeBron James and Bronny James flanked by Rubin and Fanatics Collectibles CEO Mike Mahan.

Shortly after Rubin’s post, Topps followed with official scans of the card, including the back.

“There are few moments of greater pride in a father’s life than having their child build upon the family legacy and create a legacy of their own,” the back reads. “This is no different for LeBron James. Along with the love and knowledge King James gives to his son, Bronny, he passes down the blueprint for his own Kingdom.”

An image of the card was leaked by reporter Darren Rovell last November, though that was a mockup and doesn’t reflect the current autographs.

The behind-the-scenes look from Rubin comes two days after Fanatics officially announced a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers star. James had previously spent his entire professional career exclusively signing autographs for Upper Deck.

The 1/1 dual autograph will be the major chase for 2023-24 Bowman University Chrome Basketball, which is scheduled to release on Jan. 17.

Part of Bowman’s flagship collegiate set, the card will feature Bronny James in his USC uniform and LeBron James in his St. Vincent-St. Mary High School jersey.

Despite signing LeBron James to an exclusive trading card deal, Fanatics and Topps will not be able to feature James in his Lakers uniform due to the current NBA and NBAPA licensing agreement with Panini America.

The licenses are currently scheduled to shift to Fanatics from Panini in 2026.
