Upper Deck has added another top hockey player to its lineup of exclusive signers.

Announced in a press release Thursday morning, Upper Deck has signed junior hockey superstar Michael Misa to an exclusive multi-year contract for memorabilia and trading cards.

One of the favorites to be the top pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, Misa won the OHL Rookie of the Year award while averaging 1.24 points per game during the 2022-2023 season.

"There is no doubt that Michael Misa is one of the most exciting prospects in hockey. As a fan, I'm excited to watch him display his skills, and as a company, we are ecstatic to be a part of his journey as his remarkable career progresses," Upper Deck president Jason Masherah said in a statement. "We're looking forward to producing a curated mix of Misa's collectibles, memorabilia, and trading cards — both physical and digital — as we continue to offer new and innovative ways for fans to connect with their favorite athletes."

"I am excited to join the Upper Deck family alongside Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid, both of whom I look up to on and off the ice," Misa added. "These are the moments that you dream of as a kid, so I look forward to seeing this collaboration with Upper Deck come to life for the fans to enjoy."

Upper Deck announced the signing with a video showing behind-the-scenes footage of Misa signing his first items for UD.

The first items in the Misa collection include a lineup of jerseys, prints, pucks and trading cards. The three trading cards commemorate moments from the OHL Priority Draft, Misa’s first goal and his Rookie of the Year award.

According to Upper Deck, the first 25 collectors to complete the three-card set will receive an autographed example of Misa’s Rookie of the Year card.

“When I was younger I collected a lot of trading cards,” Misa says in the video. “I just liked that as a hobby, just collecting them when I was younger. I think it’s pretty cool, all the different pieces [Upper Deck] create. Upper Deck is the best in the world for that stuff.”
