Upper Deck’s ‘My MVP’ Winner to Receive Personalized Trading Card, Stanley Cup Playoff Tickets

Upper Deck’s hunt for the most passionate NHL fan is back on for 2024.
The fourth annual “My MVP” contest began taking submissions on Feb. 6 with the winner to be announced on April 3. Contestants can enter to win on the My MVP website until Feb. 23.
Each nominee is expected to show how they positively impact the community of their favorite NHL team. Nominees will go head-to-head in an online vote with a super fan from each NHL team advancing to the final round.
“This contest is all about celebrating the unwavering passion that NHL fans bring to collecting moments and memories,” Upper Deck Senior Manager Paul Nguyen said in a statement. "This contest is a tribute to the dedicated fans who continuously showcase their enthusiasm on a level that surpasses the average supporter and makes them the MVPs of NHL fandom."
The first-place winner will receive two tickets to the 2023-24 Stanley Cup Playoffs, a $500 travel voucher, one-night accommodations, and an official trading card in an upcoming 2024-25 Upper Deck set.
Here’s the full timeline for the My MVP contest:
- February 6 – 23: MVP Entry Period
- February 28 – March 11: Team MVP Voting (Round 1)
- March 13, 2024: Announce Team MVPs
- March 19 – April 1: Ultimate MVP Voting (Round 2)
- April 3, 2024: Announce Ultimate MVP
