FOOTBALL

Jan. 3: 2023 Panini Prizm Football

Panini drops its signature football release for the 2023 season to kick off the year, right as the NFL playoffs are about to get underway. The main chase is going to be Rookie Prizms for CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Bryce Young, as well as the fan-favorite Color Blast insert.

Jan 10: 2023 Panini Phoenix Football

Quickly following up Prizm, Panini Phoenix Football focuses heavily on bold color profiles and unique geometric designs. Featuring two autographs and 10 numbered cards per box, Phoenix definitely represents a more niche set for collectors.

Jan. 17: 2023 Panini Absolute Football

January continues to be a busy month for football releases, with Absolute Football dropping halfway through. Absolute has jumped in popularity in recent years as the home for the iconic Kaboom! inserts and the 2023 release should be more of the same.

Jan. 24: 2023 Panini Impeccable Football

As one of the first truly high-end chases for the 2023 NFL Draft class, Impeccable is a set that brings on-card autographs, silver/gold bar cards, and desirable memorabilia pieces for rookies and veterans alike.

Jan. 26: 2023 Panini Rookies & Stars Football

Rookies and Stars returns in 2023 as a more budget-friendly option for collectors in the hobby. Each box will include two autographs and two memorabilia cards on average, with a 100-card rookie set and 100-card veteran set.

Jan. 31: 2023 Panini Spectra Football

Panini rounds out a busy month of football releases with the latest edition of Spectra. Each box contains four autographs and four relics on average, featuring a wide variety of striking astral-themed parallels.

BASKETBALL

Jan. 12: 2022-23 Panini Immaculate Basketball

January is another busy month for basketball cards, with the penultimate release for the 2022 NBA rookie class dropping with Immaculate. As with the other releases from this year, you’ll be hunting Paolo Banchero and Chet Holmgren amongst others for their RPAs and on-card autographs.

Jan. 17: 2023-24 Bowman University Chrome Basketball

Returning again after success last year, 2023 Bowman University Chrome Basketball features 1st Bowman cards for some of the top players in college basketball. This release may have one of the biggest chases in modern sports card history with the LeBron James/Bronny James 1/1 Superfractor Dual Autograph.

Jan. 17: 2023-24 Panini Court Kings Basketball

Court Kings is the first basketball release of 2024 focused on the latest NBA Draft class, with many collectors likely to be chasing Victor Wembanyama rookies. Be on the hunt for the Level IV SSP Rookies as well as the all-new Self Expression insert.

Jan. 24: 2023-24 Panini Donruss Basketball

A hobby favorite returns with Donruss Basketball, featuring the popular Rated Rookies found across Hobby, Choice and Retail releases. There are also some collector-favorite inserts including Crunch Time and Net Marvels, and the popular on-card Next Day Autographs.

Jan. 31: 2023-24 Panini Origins Basketball

This is one of the year’s first releases that focuses heavily on the rookie class, with a wide variety of space-themed parallels and on-card autographs. There are also rare inserts including the SSP Tiger Eyes.

BASEBALL

Jan. 17: 2023 Bowman’s Best Baseball

Bowman’s Best is our first baseball release of 2024, focusing on last year's class of rookies — Corbin Caroll, Michael Harris, Adley Rutschman and others. This set spans across veterans, rookies and prospects and is usually home to some incredible dual and triple autograph combinations.

Jan. 24: 2023 Panini Flawless Baseball

Panini Baseball releases are not currently a licensed product, so this high-end set will be composed entirely of baseball legends and upcoming prospects. Don't let that deter you, though, as there are usually some of the rarest autographs found here.

Jan. 24: 2023 Topps Stadium Club Baseball

After several delays, Topps Stadium Club Baseball is finally releasing. This fan-favorite set features iconic photography and images of rookies, veterans and Hall of Fame superstars.

SOCCER

Jan. 31: 2023-24 Panini Prizm Premier League

Panini’s first major soccer release of the year is upon us, with the fifth year of support for the world’s most popular league. Prizm introduces all-new vertical Color Blasts, dual autographs and a fresh batch of rookies.

RACING

Jan 31: 2022 Topps Chrome Formula 1 F1 Racing

Formula 1 cards return for their fourth year in the hobby, with McLaren driver Oscar Piastri the big rookie chase in this year’s product. While F1 cards aren’t as popular as they once were, this year is the first with legendary driver cards, including some drivers who’ve never been featured before.
