After a jam-packed release calendar for January, February brings a quieter schedule. These releases certainly pack a punch however with flagship rookie cards dropping for Victor Wembanyama, Conor Bedard and Elly De La Cruz. Here’s a look at some of the key sets:

Football

Feb. 9: 2023 Panini Zenith Football

The only major football release scheduled for February, Zenith returns for its 4th year as a standalone set, with a heavy focus on the most recent rookie draft class. Zenith also offers the first look at one of the year’s standout releases on the horizon, with previews for Contenders Optic Rookie Tickets being a highlight of this set.

Basketball

Feb. 7: 2023-24 Donruss Elite Basketball

The main focus for Donruss Elite is two of the key autograph sets: Pen Pals and Passing the Torch. These signatures feature a veteran star paired with one of the bright young rookies from the most recent NBA Draft class.

Feb. 7: 2023-24 Panini Prizm Basketball

In an unexpected move, Panini opted to release retail Prizm Basketball into the wild prior to the hobby release in February. We’ve already seen the first few Victor Wembanyama numbered cards from this set sell for impressive prices, leaving no doubt many will go searching for the elusive 1/1 Black Finite Prizm.

Feb. 16: 2022-23 Panini Flawless Basketball

Feb. 14: 2024 Topps Series 1 Baseball
